Composite panels with aluminum core are used in the manufacture of interior doors with the requirements of climate class. The panel in the inner door represents a vapor barrier. The processor must verify that the board complies with the regulations required for the purpose of use.

Use and storage

Panels can only be processed in the cold state. Therefore, aluminum-core composite panels must be cooled for at least 4 days after the date of manufacture. Static loading of the panels should be avoided.

Aluminum composite panels may only be stacked horizontally on the pallet. Care must be taken to ensure that the panels do not absorb moisture, as delamination may occur later during the compression process due to the reflective effect of aluminum. Therefore, the panels should be stored in a dry and ventilated place (relative humidity: 35 - 65%). Use of boards made of Funder MDF: because Funder boards do not contain biocides or other preservatives, long-term condensation effects and insufficient ventilation can lead to the formation of fungi.

Further processing

Pred nadaljnjo obdelavo morajo biti plošče klimatizirane, tako da ustrezajo prevladujočim pogojem na področju izdelave.
Primerna obdelovalna lepila so Urea-formaldehidna E1 lepila (D-3, D-4).
Temperatura med postopkom stiskanja pri nadaljnji obdelavi ne sme presegati 90°C.
Prekomerno kalibriranje ali brušenje vrhnjega sloja lahko pri nadaljnji obdelavi povzroči izpad lepljenega svinčenega srednjega sloja (parni mehurčki).
